The slide-buckle adjusters cover a chest circumference range of roughly 75 cm to 100 cm. Above 100 cm the V-cut angle becomes too shallow for the design to read clearly.

All three O-rings are zinc alloy with a silver-tone plating — metal, not plastic — so they hold their shape under normal tension and do not flex out of round.
