The Chainmail Body Harness is a black elastic chest harness built around multiple cascading silver-tone chainmail panels that drape across the chest between structured straps, replacing traditional fabric fill with open metallic curtains. Unlike a plain cage harness, the chain panels hang freely from the horizontal strap framework, creating movement with every step.

Chain Construction & Hardware

The harness uses a black elastic band framework as the anchor, with silver-tone curb-link chainmail panels attached at five O-ring junction points along the lower band. A central vertical chain drop descends from the top center O-ring, while two additional swag chains loop across the upper chest between shoulder straps. All hardware is silver-tone metal — the O-rings measure approximately 1.5 cm in diameter and the chain links are a standard 0.5 cm curb width.

Sizing & Fit Range

The elastic band construction allows the harness to stretch comfortably from approximately 70 cm to 95 cm chest circumference, covering most XS to L frame sizes. The shoulder straps are adjustable via slider buckles, giving roughly 6 cm of length adjustment per side. The harness is designed as a chest piece, so it sits at or just below the bust line rather than covering the full torso. Note that the chain panels are a fixed length — they will hang slightly lower on a taller frame, which is worth considering for very tall builds above 180 cm.

Material & Care

The band is made from black elastic fabric with a smooth satin-finish surface; the hardware and chain panels are silver-tone base metal alloy. To preserve the chain finish, hand-wash the elastic sections in cold water with mild detergent and pat dry — avoid submerging the metal chain panels for extended periods to reduce tarnish risk. Store flat or hanging to prevent chain tangling. Ironing is not suitable due to the metal components.
