Applique and Chain Care

Applique edges feel stiff, and a machine cycle damages both the leaves and the mesh they sit on. Hand wash at 30 degrees with liquid detergent and squeeze the piece under the water rather than rubbing it. Press the water out in a towel and dry flat in shade, since hanging a wet bodysuit lets the mesh stretch under its own weight. Do not iron it, because mesh melts and applique thread turns shiny.
