Gingham Pajama Set with Cherry Embroidery and Wide Leg Pants

This two-piece pajama set pairs a short sleeve camp-collar shirt with matching wide leg trousers, both cut from a yellow and white gingham check. Fabric and Care

The fabric is a fine knit used as a single layer, light enough for summer nights and heated rooms. Wash at 30 degrees on a gentle cycle with similar colours; the yellow ground can release a little dye during the first two washes, so keep it away from whites at the start. Spin on low and hang to dry, because a tumble dryer shrinks fine knits. The embroidery thread will gloss if a hot iron touches it directly, so press that panel through a cloth or from the reverse.

Washing both pieces together keeps them ageing at the same rate, which matters on a set where any colour drift between shirt and pants is immediately visible.
