The shoulder straps adjust at two points each; total strap length from shoulder to waistband is approximately 35-55 cm adjustable. The design fits torso lengths up to roughly 45 cm from under-bust to hip. Wearers with very short torsos (under 28 cm under-bust to hip) may find the waistband sits higher on the ribcage than intended — this is a trade-off of the rigid panel construction, which cannot be compressed shorter than the minimum panel stack length. Best fit range: bust 70-100 cm, waist 60-90 cm.

Material and Care

The reflective panels are made from coated synthetic textile with a metallic reflective laminate surface. The connecting hardware is zinc-alloy with a brushed-chrome finish. Because the reflective coating is sensitive to solvents, spot-clean only with a damp cloth — do not submerge, machine wash, or use alcohol-based cleaners, as this will delaminate the reflective surface. Store flat or loosely rolled; avoid folding at the panel joints under pressure for extended periods.

Frequently Asked Questions

The panels reflect existing light sources (stage lights, camera flash, UV blacklight) rather than emitting their own glow. Under a direct phone flash at 2 meters the rainbow shift is clearly visible; in complete darkness with no light source there is no glow effect.

The waistband adjusts from approximately 60 cm to 90 cm circumference via the slide buckle. Wearers outside this range will find either the buckle runs out of strap length or the extra strap tail becomes too long to tuck.

Machine washing will damage the reflective laminate coating. Wipe down with a damp cloth after use, allow to air dry flat, and avoid any alcohol-based wipes which can lift the reflective surface over time.

The slide buckles at the shoulder lock in place once set and do not loosen under normal movement. However, the rigid panel segments do not stretch, so fit depends on correct adjustment before wearing. Check both shoulder straps are equal length before going out.

Torsos shorter than about 28 cm from under-bust to hip may find the waistband rides up onto the ribcage rather than sitting at natural waist level, because the rigid shoulder strap panels have a minimum stacked length that cannot be shortened further.
