The retroreflective coating requires a direct light source pointed toward the wearer — camera flash, stage strobes, or UV/blacklight. Under normal ambient indoor lighting without a direct beam the straps appear white/off-white rather than glowing.

The waist band has a maximum adjusted circumference of approximately 85 cm. The chest section also adjusts up to roughly 90 cm. Wearers with measurements above these ranges will find the sliders at maximum extension.

The thigh cages connect to the waist band and have their own adjustable sliders, so when both sections are snug the panels hold position during normal movement. Thighs above approximately 55 cm circumference may cause the straps to dig in slightly.

All straps have a fabric backing on the skin-facing side which reduces friction compared to bare coated elastic. For extended wear sessions, especially at thigh level, wearing thin tights underneath is advisable to prevent irritation.
