XS/S and S/M fit a narrower ribcage and thigh, while 2XL/3XL through 6XL/7XL extend the waist band and thigh straps for a fuller frame. Because the shoulder clips sit flat, the harness fits best on a torso where the underbust line falls close to natural waist height, and it will sit oddly on a very short or very long torso.
