Chest Cage Construction

The upper section fans out into five parallel straps across the chest, all anchored to a central silver O-ring at the sternum. Hip and Waist Section

The lower piece frames the hips with three horizontal straps and two side connectors, all meeting at a front-center O-ring that mirrors the chest piece. The side buckles each provide about 8 cm of size range, covering a hip circumference from roughly 80 cm to 108 cm. One honest trade-off: the two sections are connected by a short center strap, so there is a fixed length between chest and waist — very petite torsos under 40 cm long may find the spacing slightly loose.

Worn over a black turtleneck and high-waist trousers, the chest cage adds structured layering for an evening-out look without showing skin. For festival or costume occasions, wear it directly over bare skin or a strapless bodysuit — the adjustable buckles make on-the-spot sizing quick. Sizing and Fit

The chest straps adjust from roughly 75 cm to 95 cm band circumference. The shoulder straps extend to accommodate a torso up to about 55 cm shoulder-to-waist. The harness fits most XS through L body types when both sections are adjusted independently. If you have a bust circumference above 100 cm or a very short torso below 38 cm, the chest section may sit higher or lower than intended. Sizing down is not recommended — choose based on your actual band measurement, not your dress size.

Material and Care

Straps are cut from vegan faux leather with a smooth matte finish and no visible grain texture. Hardware is zinc-alloy with a silver-tone plating. To clean, wipe straps with a damp cloth and mild soap — do not soak or machine wash, as prolonged water exposure will cause the faux leather surface to crack at the edges over time. Store flat or loosely coiled; tight folding creates permanent creases in the strap material. The silver hardware should be dried promptly if it gets wet to prevent tarnishing.
